Sound & Voice Meditation

We use simple sounds, tones and chants, to lengthen the breath and take us into a calm, meditative state. Using the voice in this way promotes good health and well-being by offering all the benefits of singing (but without the music, notes and getting it ‘right’).

The sessions will start with some gentle movement and conscious breathing followed by simple voice practices, toning and chants from the yoga and other traditions. We will end with a sound bath. Here you may relax or continue in a state of meditation.

If you are pregnant, terminally ill,  have a pacemaker, or a condition that could be exacerbated by variations of sounds such as Meniere’s Disease or tinnitus, or have severe mental illness, please contact me to discuss whether this will be suitable for you.
